Featuring XODP Content on Your Web Site
Anyone can feature XODP content on their Web site, subject to XODP's Terms of Service. However, XODP reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason. The major restrictions that XODP imposes on the use of its content is that people must notify XODP of their intent to use XODP content and that XODP content cannot be altered or repurposed in any way without the express permission of XODP. What this means in practical terms is that the text and hypertextlinks contained in each XODP Web Guide must remain intact along with the overall layout of the content and the relative size of the various fonts. However, if you wish to alter the format of XODP content to match the formatting of your own Web site -- i.e., by adjusting the font style, font color, background color, or the overall font size of the XODP Web Guides -- you are free to do so. You are also free to co-brand XODP data by displaying the content of the XODP Web Guides in frames on your Web site. If you have any questions or concerns about what use of XODP content is acceptable, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
